Hi, I’m The Book Guru
The name originated from my friend who I always recommended books to and she’s rather creative so she came up with the name The Book Guru for me. It stuck.
In school, I was always The Girl Who Is Always Reading A Book whether that was in class or during lunchtime i was always carrying a book or two.
I was also seen carrying bags full of books, when one of my teacher’s noticed they called me The Mobile Library.
So yes, I’m an avid reader and i love books.
so The Book Guru was born and my friend even drew me a picture of The Book Guru- i wear a purple turban and sit on a cushion surrounded by stacks of books and candles dotted about. a piece of chocolate has to be nearby because there is nothing better than reading a book and eating chocolate- the simple things in life. =)
Books are pretty much a major part of my life- without them i doubt I’d survive, I’d probably be incredibly ignorant and i wouldn’t have many friends. I’d be a completely different person and i don’t like the idea of that- i prefer being me. good old bookish me.
My mum also happens to be an author! Go read The Story of Maha and the sequel Maha, Ever After! Sadly it is only available as an Ebook at the moment but you can get it on Kindle, Kobo and iBooks.
My Fave Books:
1- The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende
2- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
3- The Princess Bride by William Goldman
4- Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
5- The Stories Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin
Happy Reading!
