‘The heat of summer sunshine…’

Hola mis amigas bonitas!!!

Que Pasa?

If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere i do hope you’re enjoying the beautiful weather. but if it’s winter where you are then keep warm. πŸ˜‰

Apparently 27-30 degrees Celsius (around 80F) is optimum temperature for rioting…but i don’t want you to riot- it’s all about PEACE.

Some mind-blowing news:

The trailer for the Phineas and Ferb Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension

I cannot wait for this awesomeness. =D

Did you know that there at 7000 billionaires in Shanghai? I wonder what they do with all their money.

Also. you can Rent-A-Friend in Japan. you’d have to be REALLY lonely to do that. so sad. I mean…it must be rather lonely to have to RENT A FRIEND BECAUSE YOU DON’T HAVE ANY OTHER FRIENDS. I mean…unless you’re a recluse but even then. sigh.

In YA news…another article has disregarded YA fiction…as if ANY AUTHOR CAN WRITE ONLY 3 DRAFTS.

‘In Y.A. you write two or three drafts of a chapter, not eight.’ WHAT PLANET ARE YOU LIVING ON?1 obviously your books must be pure drivelΒ  if yo only need 2 drafts and don’t even make an effort to create a story.

The sad thing is that these two are supposedly YA authors and yet they seem to know NOTHING about the YA world…I mean…i’m not exactly a ‘professional’Β  book blogger or a YA author but I do read YA and that is enough for me to know that these authors spend time researching, writing, editing, revising, tweeting and interacting with fans…taking time to answer questions on Goodreads and attending meetings etc. being an author is tough business but it’s doing something you LOVE.

Here’s the lame article. Maybe it’s meant to be a ‘joke’ but I don’t know…they ARE YA authors after all. but HONESTLY- so not funny!

If you’re wondering who that is- Tahere Mafi is a YA author who’s debut novel Shatter Me will be released in November.

But of course the AWESOME BOOK BLOGGERS OUT THERE…who I LOVE very much because how else would I know about such fabulous books?! but really…this is an honest virtual representation of how I feel whenever I see WIN ARCs or I JUST GOT AN ARC OF…

okay…so yes…anyhew…moving on to…TV NEWS: it’s not really news…it’s just my opinion on the episode.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager: Ben needs to seriously BUCK UP and get a life. I’m glad Betty told Adrianne those things (‘you stink…you need to shower’- i get that EVERY DAY FROM MY BROTHER…after i shower…) because everyone deals with grief differently. I’m so happy for Amy and Ricky- they deserve to be a HAPPY FAMILY…but of course it’s a ‘drama’ so it won’t last for too long. Afterall…All Good Things Must Come To An End. oh and Ben is such a idiot- he just wants to get some that’s why he’s still with Adrianne. i can’t believe Grace cheated on Grant- Grant is such a great guy. gosh this show is so stupid.

Teen Wolf: AWKWARDNESS….BUT SO FUNNY. oh and Derek topless. but yes…there are definitely a lot of topless scenes *cough* I’m thinking maybe the vet is the alphaΒ  because he looked slightly freaked out and weary when the sheriff came in…but perhaps it’s someone else…

Angry Boys: the only people find funny is Gran and Daniel and Nathan but I really don’t like the Japanese mum or S.Mouse or that other surfer freak. But i definitely prefer Summer Heights High and We Can Be Heroes. he should have brought back Jonah Takalua. =D

in book news…um…LIBBA BRAY ANSWERED MY QUESTION ON GOODREADS. i felt so loved. ah…I LOVE goodreads for inviting authors to do those chats. Holly Black and Megan McCafferty also answered my questions. I mean…these people are purely awesome beings. πŸ˜‰

Book Movie News: The Host has got a release date: 29th March 2013- so we all should be alive to see it. Supposedly we’re going to die in 2012 but whatever…I want to see The Hunger Games so i shall strive to survive. =P

Also- the weather has been BRILLIANT. Obviously the sun has got his hat on. Yay.

in depressing news:

I have no idea what is going on in the Middle East and North Africa…and wait ALL OVER THE WORLD. It just seems like the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

I hate the act that diseases like cholera existed in Europe back in the day but STILL EXIST AROUND THE WORLD. i mean…really?! the world is like 72% water and people don’t have clean drinking water. while we have POOLS AND WASTE WATER BECAUSE…WE CAN. sure have a pool- pools are nice in summer or if it’s hot all year round or if you’re an athlete and it’s a good form of exercising but let’s NOT forget how we use water for recreational purposes others die of dehydration or water-borne diseases.

All I know about the Revolutions are more people are dying and getting injured everyday while the oppressor remains stubborn and adamant and lets his troops kill his own people. because THAT is the kind of world we live in. we want peace and freedom and rights but all we have is violence, oppression and discrimination.

Fight Against Injustice. Fight For Your Freedom.

This is EPIC.

So Wimbledon News:

Kate and Wills were there- I think they came to see Murray or Nadal. can’t remember. but i feel sorry for those who have to wear suits- they must be sweltering.

I wonder what kind of training The Ball Girls and Boys had to have- they’re good at saying expressionless. =P

I hope either: Murray, Nadal or Federer win the men’s final and I am all for Sharapova to win the women’s final!

I love summer storms. so beautiful. and refreshing!

Anyhew so for Father;s Day which was on June 19th my mum and I baked Boston Cream Cupcakes from the Hummingbird Bakery Book:

Well I hope everyone has a simply splendid week and weekend. Enjoy the weather and embrace the day.

Happy Reading!
